The English countryside really does look like the Shire and every other part of Middle Earth. Beautiful... just beautiful.
I took about 400 pictures (not including the ones I scrapped). Mom and I stayed at a cottage near Uley on Owlpen Manor, went to Windsor Castle, the city of Bath, Cadbury World, Upper and Lower Slaughter, Tetbury, and various sights in London by way of the Tube.
I loved it. We would have been lost hourly without the navigation system in the rental car. My body thinks its 3am, so I'm going to sleep because I'm still in Chicago... tomorrow evening I'll be back in St. Louis.
Almost surprisingly, I now consider St. Louis to be wonderful... likely because I'm not bogged down with school work, and there are people I've met and would love to know better.
I'm definitely looking forward to the summer. :D
