Soooo... Apparently an ice storm is on its way... the storm that hit Colorado with "Biblical proportions of snow" is headed my way. By tonight, according to the news, no one will be able to leave or enter St Louis... this is the kind of ice storm that only comes every 15-20 YEARS! Wow, just to welcome me to the Midwest... gee, I feel all warm inside... at least until the power goes out and I freeze to death!!!!
Okay, I'm over reacting... forgive me for being a little terrified when the "worst" weather I've ever lived in is rain for more than 5 days and hail that lasts for 10 minutes.... hmmm...
But the fabulous news is that they found Ben Ownby! He's a 13 year-old boy who went missing after school on Monday in a nearby town... and guess who they found him with! A kid who had gone missing 4 YEARS AGO!!!! They're both alive and fine... and the other kid (who was lost when he was 11) now gets to go home at age 15! How crazy weird and how totally amazing! Ya, so that's really happy... despite the ridiculous fun-killer-of-a-storm that is coming very soon... so ya... blogging may cease for a bit... we shall see.
