STORY TIME!!

So the infamous "Johnny" has returned. The last I had heard from him was several weeks ago and I was beginning to wonder why I hadn't heard from him more recently. You would think he wouldn't have given up that easily.

Well, he showed up at Terra Nova (the college group where I met him), and somehow found his way to the park where we were having a BBQ. I was sitting on a picnic bench and all of a sudden I felt a hand on my back and there's Johnny all dressed up (I've never seen him in anything but a dirty t-shirt and holy jeans), cowboy hat and all. I said a very surprised, "hi" and I think he kind of smiled to himself as he walked away.

It was about that time that were were all gathering on the grass, so I went and grabbed Caitlin because I knew that we would need to try and save each other from Johnny (he had previously pursued her and she wanted nothing to do with him). Caitlin had not noticed his arrival and she was none too happy to hear of it. We sat down on the grass and he came over and sat next to her. I have to admit that though I was relieved that he had not taken the vacant seat next to me, I was very confused and a little offended. Soon, however, my friend Josh showed up (a family friend who had been meaning to visit the group with me), and I was glad that there was room next to me.

Caitlyn and I did our best to ignore Johnny and surprisingly, he was not even remotely obnoxious (as he tends to be). I began to wonder if he had decided to shape up and try to win my heart... silly Michal... always the romantic.

When the talk ended, I started introducing Josh to everyone. Then, Caitlin needed to talk before she left, so I soon left Josh with Karin and walked Caitlin to her car. All that time I had been sure that Johnny would walk over in his usual fashion and stand next to me imposingly like a little boy who needs attention... but he didn't.

By the time Caitlin and I were through talking, it was almost pitch black outside, the sprinklers had taken over the park, and everyone was headed over to the Pink House (5 of the guys just moved into it so its kind of like our headquarters). I grabbed my stuff and inquired about Josh only to find out that he had been sucked into giving Johnny a ride home.

When Josh showed up at the Pink House, he began to ask about Johnny. It was soon revealed that Johnny had told Josh that he was getting married.... no, wait, there's more.... to a girl he met last week!

So hmm... that sure answers my question about why I hadn't heard from him... I just hope for the girl's sake that he's the only one who's delusional... as long as he's the only one who's planning on getting married, then she may just survive the disaster that is Johnny.
