In about 30 minutes I'll be leaving for the airport. I'm scared but so excited and definitely uneasy.
I want them to like me and I want to feel confident taking care of twin 3-year old boys. Yes, dealing with kids seems to come naturally to me, but I'm still scared. I'm mostly scared because there's a pool and I haven't had CPR training for years. The parents know this, but they're paramedis, so that's a little intimidating.
Anyway, I could use prayer. Well, we all could use prayer all the time, but I'm really feeling the need right now. I really need to get boys (you know... the older, marrying variety) off the brain and focus on God right now. I know that should always be my goal, but I am apparently especially aware and hungry for it right now.
Well... here goes nothin'.

more like "Here goes something." or rather, someone. know you're going to be missed, and hey--you have a much more adventureous spirit than i do. even if you're scared, you're still going for it. that's a hell of a lot more than a lot of people out there.
