Almost packed...

Well, since I got more time... that means I spent more time not packing... wow, this feels like school. ;-)

I am almost packed, though. Both suitcases are almost full... and that includes a weight limit (so all my books..13 in all, but I left 6 behind that I really wanted... are going in my carry-on). Unfortunately, I still have a pile of stuff on my floor and in my bathroom that needs to make it into a suitcase. And guess how many suitcases I'm taking: well, there's two huge ones that I'm checking... and then a small suitcase (full of books) as my carry-on, as well as my backpack (because its considered a personal item).

This is definitely the first time I've ever gone to the airport with more luggage than I can easily carry on my own. Let's see... I'll be pulling two huge suitcases on rollers... with a backpack and a suitcase either over my shoulder or on top of one of the huge rollers... I'm definitely going to be an amusing sight tomorrow night.

Hey... you try being a girl and packing for a year for a place you've never been and a schedule you've never experienced... and I'm not even a typical girl with all the make-up and hair products and hair appliances... wow, I can't imagine!
