So I wanted something on my screen saver at work that would be a nice reminder to me, but not invasive, annoying, confusing, etc. to other people.
Recently the acronym: F.R.O.G. has become my favorite. It stands for "Fully Rely On God". I kind of got sick of WWJD, so I was happy to have something similar that actually meant something to me. Because if I don't "fully rely on God," I totally flip out... stress... screaming... general un-funness.
So anyway, F.R.O.G. now bounces around my screen until my computer goes to sleep and the screen goes blank. And early last week, one of the women at work was in my cubicle talking to my cubicle-mate and she turned to me on her way out and asked me what my screen saver meant... so I told her.
And I have to tell you that I didn't really know what to expect... and the next thing I know, her voice totally changes and she says, "...I try to do that every day."
We didn't really talk again during the week but this morning she came into my cubicle holding a metal frog candle holder. She handed it to me and said, "I don't look at them the same anymore."
How cute is that!?! I was really taken-a-back... and I hope that we can be an encouragement to each other in the weeks to come. :D
So now my little froggy candle holder and my screen saver are there on my desk to remind me that God is in control and I don't have to worry my pretty little head about a thing.
