Sad & Scary

Today, our house was burglarized. They rummaged through the bedrooms, the den and the tools in the garage. And besides some cash, all they wanted was my iPod and my digital camera. I'm just glad that I emptied my memory card and burned all my pictures before I left Florida.

But my beautiful digital camera, my huge memory card, my 8 rechargeable batteries, my nice camera case (which unfortunately reminds me of Jason and is easily confused with Danielle's and my uncle's camera cases), my beautiful engraved iPod, and my pink iPod cover are all gone... and that makes me really sad. Not to mention the fact that its scary that someone was in our house (it wasn't a forced entry, we had left the back door unlocked... we usually leave it locked, so we don't ever think about checking it).

So now my room (which was already a mess because I haven't unpacked anything from my two huge suitcases which are laying open on the floor) is an even bigger mess because they rummaged through all of my desk drawers and left it strewn about my room. The pathetic thing is that I didn't even notice anything was wrong when I came upstairs to the den to check my e-mail and start job-searching because its not like my room looked different at a glance... lol. Now, I suppose would be a good time to sort through all that stuff and get rid of it. I sorted through my closet this past summer, but I didn't get to my desk drawers... I've been avoiding them... and now their contents are strewn on the floor. :(

So ya... Lizzy (my iPod) is gone... and my camera... my wonderful digital camera... what will I do without my camera? :'(
