This is the life...

Well, the weekend was a blast. The boys have gotten really good at responding when I start counting to 3... its great... but they didn't get into the paper mache like I thought they would. They each put one strip of paper on and then told me it was too messy... don't boys like that stuff?

When I took the boys to hang out with the local extended family on Sunday after church, their grandparents asked me to come camping with them in the Keys this weekend. And I would really enjoy going, but I think I need a break since I worked all this past weekend and I'm making plans with some new friends from church... plus Hurricane Wilma is coming so I don't think they'll be able to go anyway.

Then yesterday, I took the boys to the beach to meet Bill & Roni there and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!! The sand is so fine and so white and so soft... wow! And it was Monday so no one was around and I just laid there, tried not to get burned (I succeeded) and read my book. And the water is a perfect temperature and it was high tide so you could actually get your whole body wet instead of just going up to your knees most of the way out to the sand bar.

And to top it all off, last night there was a women's event at church and the ladies I've met (who are so friendly and fun) convinced me to go. It was a goofy night where the theme was "Back to the Future" so everything was backwards including our clothes. And I got to hang out with the three other girls my age and we're planning to hang out again this weekend... so fun!
