Fish Names

By request from Katie.

The algae eater is dark colored on his top half/back, so his name is Maurice (its Latin for "dark skinned").

The danio likes to swim backwards across the tank and "tread water" that way, so I named him Dexter (Latin for "skillful").

The tetra keeps trying to swim through the glass to go further and he tends to swim around the most, so I call him Nestor (which is Greek for "traveler").

And yes, Katie, these are all names from my little baby names book.
