Even though the snow melted as soon as I left St Louis for California, it is still very strange to be in such a warm climate. We went shopping in Orange County and there were swimsuits on sale at Target. Now I'm here in San Diego and there are sleeveless shirts on sale everywhere and everyone is bundled up because it's "cold" today and I'm just wearing pants and long sleeves.
I'm totally being snotty about the weather to the "SoCal wimps." I started using that term when I was going to college in LA because if it rained for more than a day (and we're talking California rain...), they would all start whining about the terrible weather... but soon I became a SoCal wimp myself... and then promptly spent a winter in Florida which didn't help matters at all. ;)
Anyway, I'm STILL not done with all of my papers, and I have a ton of other stuff to do (including arrange my new room, which will be ready when I go back to St Louis on the 10th) before school starts again, but at the moment I don't care. I'm in San Diego visiting friends and I just don't care...

Yes, I have entered the blagosphere. You stole my oreo! and spellchecker does not like that you forced me to type "oreo" because it is not a real word. and spellcheck does not recognize itself as a word. An apple fallen from the tree of irony*
