Where do I start?

Yesterday was interesting... to say the least. But definitely a good interesting all around.

I brought candy and stickers to school, because those are necessities on Valentine's Day. I was all decked out in pink and red... and totally hyped up on the day, the snow, and above all: sugar.

After the lows of the previous day (which I'm sure are soon to return once reality kicks back in and I'm stuck with my research paper) made the highs of yesterday even more notable and confusing.

Everyone seemed really pleased that I had brought them chocolate, but I don't think they quite knew what to do with all the pink-and-red-ness, candy bracelets, and stickers... I don't know if they've seen me like that before.

I didn't really get any work done (except between classes-that's normal), but Bible Study was especially fun because we all seemed really hyper and laughter-happy (as opposed to trigger-happy).

But the weirdest part of my day was the nearly four and a half hour conversation I had from 11pm-3:20am with the last person I thought I'd be hearing from: Jason. He didn't call me because it was Valentine's Day (totally a fluke), but it was really great to talk to him. We joked and laughed a lot about the fights we used to have and our own blindness to our incompatibility as far as dating/marriage went (even though that was never the topic of conversation). But it was fun to catch up on life and friend news.

The pain was literally gone, something I never thought would happen. And I went to bed laughing... what is it with me and Valentine's Day? ...they always seem to end up just a little odd.
