So its really cold! After I hung out with Robin last night at Blueberry Hill, I was shivering like crazy on the short trip to my car at 1am. Then this morning, I was brilliant and decided not to drive to church even though I figured it would be pretty cold.
My poor roommate, Qi Qi, can't find her scarf, but won't let me make her one, so she's always freezing when we walk to school or whatever... and its only supposed to get colder this week. And even though it was SO COLD this morning, I rationalized that it would warm up when the sun finished emerging from the clouds... and it sure LOOKED warmer when we walked home, but IT WASN"T. We totally froze in the cold wind on the way home, too.
After lunch, I attempted to work on my massive amounts of reading but somehow found a million other urgent things like:
*cleaning up the kitchenSo after the show was over, I forced myself to retreat to my room so that I could read at my desk. It worked great for about 15 minutes until I realized I was freezing (my room never seems to get much heat for some reason). Knowing that I would get distracted if I went back out into the living room, I decided to crawl into bed to get warm and read. But instead I just sat there staring at the wall or my article (I don't know which one) until my dad called on my cell phone.
*sweeping the floor (I had to stop myself from vaccuuming -apparently my procrastination default is cleaning)
*update my To Do list
*find everyone from my high school that I wanted to add as a friend on Facebook
*then find everyone from my college graduating class as well
*listen to the radio and dance around my kitchen
*watch poker on TV -even though I've frequently confessed my inability to grasp the fascination with poker on TV
*input 10 $1 bills into Wheresgeorge.com
*enter 5 Diet Coke Rewards codes
*broil sausage for pasta (I have to say that I was disappointed in my completed pasta concoction)
*tape You're the One That I Want by pausing the recording during every commercial break
*clean up the kitchen again
OYE! And now I'm just tired and still cold and maybe I should just go to bed and call it a completely abandoned day...
