Its Official

I am a grad student.

I went to two classes today (but I'm dropping one of them because I just found out that I passed the proficiency exam -thank you Experimental Psychology!).. and Lauren was in both of them (the one we visited at her bar where she works)... as well as several other people I met at orientation. Its so nice to walk through the building and run into people you recognize... so comforting.

So Lauren and I went to lunch in between our classes and we have classes together tomorrow as well. But the sad thing is that Holly is in the class I dropped... I hope we have other classes together.

Anyway, I survived my first day! ...without my cell phone no less (ha ha! I forgot about it last night -which I never do- and it lost all power in my jeans pocket hanging in my closet, so I plugged it in and left it this morning).

And sadly enough, I had to defame my beautiful Mac this morning (I still need to name it... girl.... boy... I still can't figure it out). They offer tracking stickers for $10 to register your computer and such... its such a great security feature... but in order to make it truly effective, they have to put two big stickers on the front... poor computer... I'm just protecting you!
