A Fun Bar

So I've visited a couple bars here with some of the girls in my program (mainly Megan, Mandy, and Lauren), but it wasn't until tonight that we happened upon one I truly enjoyed (aside from expected bar-ickiness). I liked certain aspects or certain ambiences in the others, but tonight was just fun.

So sue me, but I don't remember what the name of it is... will find out later. But we drove into the main city St Louis and went to this place where the entertainment is 2 grand pianos, drums and a guitar. You put in requests with a dollar at the pianos and they play any song you can think of together (sometimes with drum or guitar accompaniment). IT WAS SO FUN! In between songs (besides the bidding wars to end certain songs), they would do a little stand-up and other random stuff. And they were very talented musicians and singers... I was impressed.

Some people were dancing, most were just singing along at the top of their lungs. By the end of the night, some pretty strange things started happening, so we decided to call it a night, but we will definitely be back. I tend to ignore the entertainment at bars, but there it just MADE the bar... it was awesome.

I have pictures, but currently don't feel like finding my camera cord. Oh and I need to remember to buy inconspicuous ear plugs... it is a distinct possibility that I may be deaf in the morning...
