Did you know that they plow sidewalks? My street wasn't plowed but the sidewalk on the major street had been plowed... and I saw a guy riding on what looked like a lawnmower along each sidewalk... so funny.
And since I spent 2 evenings this week with two different groups of people form my church (yes, I am jumping in with both feet), I got to wander around talking to people this Sunday after church in stead of just leaving after meeting one person. It was so wonderful! And since its Corrin's birthday today, they were gonna have cake at someone's house tonight.
I went home, picked up Holly, and she and I drove to Imperial to look at a desk and dresser that I found on Craig's list. I still love it, so the guy is going to bring it this week. SO EXCITED to have a real room again!
Then, when I got home, I attempted to do some more reading... I swear I did... but I ended up joining Facebook instead and I found a ton of people who I haven't talked to in a while who aren't on MySpace... it made me happy. But the verdict is that I'm officially crazy because this is the list of my e-mail/journal/picture/profile accounts:
MySpaceI really am psycho!
Blogger (3 blogs)
Geocities
Yahoo
SBCglobal
Gmail
BUBBS (Biola)
GWBmail (Wash U)
Kodak
Shutterfly
Photobucket
So then, I made dinner instead of spending my last available hour reading before Corrin's thing. So I get to the house, meet some more church people (it was a smaller group which is nice), and then I start talking with the host (Michelle) about plays and musicals and Shakespeare and modern Shakespeare adaptation in movies and Jane Austen. It was so fun! So I have two movies I'm going to bring her next Sunday from my collection.
THEN I find out that they do this open-house-thing every Sunday night! I'm so there! :D
So now, tomorrow is all work and no play... but its okay, it was worth it... or at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it... ;)
