Opinions Please
So I ended up at a business meeting for a company that one of my friends just got involved in. Its similar to Mary Kay in the way things are sold... but the pay-off is much higher. For instance, the people higher up in the company don't have to work anymore (at age 30) because they receive rediculous amounts of money each month because of the work of the people they recruited. The products are great, but the business part sounded fishy to me... so I looked it up and I want to know what you guys think:

Dude... that looks super shady. why do you want to do that?
Although it says it isn't a pyramaid scheme... I'm not sure I believe it.
I didn't mean that I wanted to do it. I just wanted to know if I was crazy thinking this was a little weird... I have a couple friends that are all excited about it and I'm just concerned about them... but they have been successfully brainwashed by the success stories (stories, mind you, not percentages or probabilities), and I just wanted to understand it all... and it isn't a pyramid scheme by the legal definition... but I want to know where the money is coming from... anyway... ya
