Hoarse but Buff

My voice is half gone, but my arms are super buff. I spent every moment from 6am to 10pm each day walking, carrying 5 gallon thermoses, talking, prepping food, serving food, cleaning up, and laughing. It was an exhausting, but wonderful week.

We drove into the school parking lot last night with a Channel 5 News van waiting for us. Yup, one of the parents has connections in media and the trip has been getting lots of publicity this year... which is definitely a mixed blessing: its obnoxious, but its good to get the awareness out about the need and how people can help. There was a thing in the 11 o'clock news last night about us that we taped, in case you're interested.

And now I just want to sleep... but no, I am still unemployed and must continue my efforts to remedy that... but I think I'll put that off another day or two until Easter is over... 'course, my dad's brother's family is coming on Wednesday.... so hmmm... my procrastination may be aided and prolonged further... we shall see.

I'll write more on Mexico later... I hope.

Oh, believe me, I WILL help you procrastinate.....but I don't want you to resent me later, so I'm offering to help in your job search. Oh, yeah, don't say "I told you so," but I'm very much enjoying Josh Groban's Closer album. I like Oceano and Never Let Go. Thanks for updating!
