What day is it?

Saturday already? Weird. I can't keep track anymore because as an official part of this family, now, my schedule doesn't run on a seven day week... its a three day cycle.

I'm currently on hold with Wells Fargo to cancel an automatic transfer between my accounts. I called a couple months ago for specifically this purpose, but they didn't cancel all of them for me. So I'm currently playing my Josh Gracin CD on my computer as well as hearing some really weird "on hold" music in my phone earpiece. And interestingly enough, its not just musical, someone's singing, too. But because I'm on a cell phone, the reception for music is choppy so I can't quite tell what they're singing about.

Oop... there's the beep that means my phone is running out of batteries... uh oh... I gotta go plug it in quick...

Now I'm balancing my phone on my leg so that it can reach the plug in the wall while I type at the computer. And the strange music combination continues... Interrupted by the occasional recorded message assuring me that my call is important... Oh yay! its ringing... someone is going to assist me now.

Anyway, I've been doing some more studying because I'm taking the General GRE in a month and I honestly feel like I'm back in high school. Not only is the study book and program I'm using really cheesy, but I've always hated taking standardized tests with a passion. I just don't like the time pressure and the fact that there's a quick way to solve every problem, but I'm so stressed out by the time necessity to find the quick way (because I tend to go the long route with everything) that I can't focus enough to actually figure it out. Ugh!

And then I get so frustrated by the reading comprehension questions and the antonym questions of words I've never seen, that I just give up and start guessing aimlessly which is a big "no, no" as far as the testing program is concerned. Ick! I hate this.

So now, in order to do better on the test I hate taking, I just have to subject myself to more timed testing... Wow! That sounds like lots of fun! *sarcastic grin*
