Rough Day

Today was a really rough day with Chris and Ethan. They wanted to do the opposite of everything I asked them to do (simply to defy me for the fun of it)... there were two extended tantrums... and I took them on a long walk around the neighborhood to wear them out, but they still had enough energy to spend over three hours not falling asleep for their nap... and later, poop all over the bathroom floor...

I'm currently enjoying a spoon-full of chocolate icing to console myself. Ugh! I know things will get better, but I'm exhausted. They're currently laying in their beds, watching Jay Jay The Plane, and singing 'Twinkle Twinkle' like little angels... go figure!
