Kids are funny

Here are a few things that the boys have done that I find really amusing.

Chris: We went to the funny little restaurant that had a toy train running through every room (The Bubble Room). And everytime it came into the room he would get all excited, bounce up and down in his seat, and yell, "The train is coming!! Look at the train!!" He seriously didn't get any less excited for the first ten times... so it just got funnier and funnier to Roni, Bill and I.

Ethan: "Its an inanimats" The first time he said it I seriously thought he was calling something an "inanimate object" boy was I still in "adult-mode"... he was really just trying to say "ambulance".

Chris: One day, we were taking a walk down the street and he was pointing to his shadow on the ground saying, "Hey, what's this?" So I told him that it was his shadow and I tried to explain it the simplest way I could, you know "the sun makes you have a shadow, but it goes away when the sun goes down and its dark." He kept talking about his shadow, my shadow, and Ethan's shadow the whole way home. Then about a week later, we were all (Roni & Bill included) going to swim and sit in the hot tub and the light from the porch gave Chris a shadow even though it was dark. So he got all excited again and had to tell mom and dad about his shadow.

And there really are a ton more, but I just can't think of them at the moment. I'll post them as they happen.. or at least try to. And sometimes, something strikes me as so funny that I try really hard to remember it for later, but then I can't recall it... Like, I took a picture of something Ethan drew (he's really good at drawing) because he called it something funny. But now I don't remember what it was that he called it so it feels kind of pointless to post the picture. But anyway, when they're behaving (which is becoming more frequent... espcially if they've had their nap), they're definitely amusing.
