The boys are potty-trained, but they're still learning what to do after you take off your pants and go potty. And of course they think its really funny to be naked, so they usually run out of the bathroom without putting their underwear back on to tell you that they went potty. And then, Chris often turns around and says, "Look at my butt! See my butt?" We don't know where he learned this but its pretty funny.
And then today, they had finished breakfast and we were watching Pinoccio. They decided that they wanted the noodles that mom had bought at the store yesterday and this is how the conversation went:
Chris: I want pink... and green... and white noodles. Can I have pink noodles? [one of his favorite colors is pink... boy, does this kid know how to appreciate the good things ;-)]
Me: I can't make them right now, but do you want noodles for lunch or for dinner?
Chris: I want noodles right now.
Me: How about if I make noodles for dinner and we eat something else for lunch?
Chris: [after a slight pause for contemplation] Can you make dinner first?
Currently, it is nap-time, which usually ends up being "play in your room" time because these kids really have to be worn out before they'll sleep. So they're playing in their room and Ethan calls me over to tell me that they put in a video they want to watch. And then he says
Ethan: I'm tired.
Me: Okay, well then you better get in bed to watch the movie.
Ethan: [hardly hesitating] I'm not tired anymore.

They're adorable! Haha, remindes me of a funny babysitting story: Ellie was sitting at the table across from me after lunch and I told her she smelled like goldfish. She asked, "really?" and then lifted up her armpits and sniffed them.
