I love my Christian rock and pop and r&b, but sometimes the songs are only good for a certain frame of mind. And realistically, we don't always feel happy towards God regardless of the fact that we know we should because He's God.
My roommates in college often would play Linkin Park, Jimmy Eat World and other groups that tend to scream out their pain and anger at people and the world. Well, I think Christian music should have songs that speak to those feelings, too, because Christianity really is suited for everything in life so shouldn't Christian music reflect that?
Well, I have recently found a couple groups that I think are beginning to live up to that and its making me really happy. One such group is called Plumb and the song I'm talking about is called "I can't do this". They have a clip on the mini beginning that they're calling their website.
I'm planning to buy their CD as soon as it comes out in September and I decide that I can rationalize spending the money on a CD (I've only bought 1 or 2 CDs since I went away to college, but my music collection needs a serious update). So ya.... check them out.

Okay, so apparently I've just been oblivious and Plumb has been around forever. But this is a new album and its coming out September 13th and i can hardly wait. Oh and I naturally look for songs that suit my every mood, but since most of my moods tend to be on the happier side of the spectrum (even the sad spectrum), I was more thinking about all this because of my friends that like the crazy screaming music and stuff.... but ya... maybe this adendum was pointless, but there it is.... and I'm going to bed, now.
