Visiting King's

The King's Academy is my old high school and I always go and visit whenever I'm home and school's still in session. There aren't very many of my teachers left, but there are a few students who were young when I graduated and they're still around (mostly younger siblings of the kids I graduated with). My mom also works there, now, so I often sit in her office or do odd tasks for her.

Once again, I wandered around at lunch today and it took me until 2 minutes before the bell rang (wow, I'm not used to going by a bell system) to find Julie (the sister of one of my ex-boyfriends). Her sister now goes to Biola, too... isn't that funny. Anyway, she's always hard to find because she wanders around and socializes like I do... its pretty funny.

And its really weird to see my old teachers from junior high. They always like to know what I'm planning to do and they can't believe I've graduated from college... it does feel pretty weird... and it definitely doesn't feel like its been four years since I graduated from my high school... well, I guess this feeling is normal because I'm told that time just moves faster as you get older. So as life accelerates, I'll just have to work harder at enjoying the ride.
