Sometime today I realized how much I enjoy relationships. I get excited when they begin and sad when they end. And this includes relationships I know semi-personally or just hear of. There's just something about that connection that I find completely wonderful and amazing.
When I was in Santa Barbara with Liana, I realized that I like being a third, fifth or whatever wheel. It may take me a little while to get used to a person I've just met who's in a relationship with a close friend of mine, but once I'm past that, I just love to be around the couples. Liana's roommate's boyfriend was worried that I'd be uncomfortable if the five of us went out (Me, Liana, Will, Kate, and Neal) when the truth was that I was totally excited to go out with the four of them because they're lots of fun and they actually act like a couple around people and I find that completely adorable even when I'm single. And honestly, when I'm not single, I don't notice the other couples and I think I miss out because I don't really stop and smell the roses in a sense.
And of course this is all connected to my irrational love of chick flicks. Romantic comedies are my very very favorite and they can do no wrong. There's even a movie that has two NSYNC boys in it (only one of which can act) and its totally cheesy. If that weren't enough, they dubbed out several swear words so that it could be PG instead of PG-13. So in many ways, though it is completely tacky, I find it completely charming. Maybe that just means I'm a bad critic or I have no appreciation for the art of film-making... but I think it just means I'm a hopeless romantic and I can't help but enjoy relationships in their many forms.

On The Line?!?
Please excuse me while I throw-up.
Natalie, I can't believe you know that movie... I thought I was the only one on the planet who even paid attention to it. And yes, I will be coming up in July for the wedding.
haha well Katie basically summed up how I feel about it. I've actually seen it at least 3 times because my friends like umm...movies...like that and one time my mom dragged me to the theater or wherever it was playing. But yeah. Just thought I'd share.
Yay Michal is coming!
