I'm so sad today because both of my fish (Keegan and Caden) have gone to the big fish bowl in the sky. Caden has been acting a little sick for the last couple days, so yesterday, I put the whole tank in the sink and surrounded it with warmer water so that the tank water would warm up a little (that's helped my fish in the past). Unfortunately, I didn't count on them jumping (I'm not used to having a tank with a lid), so I left the lid off and left the room.
I came back a few minutes later and Keegan was swimming around the sink. I caught him and put him back in the tank, but he started flipping upside-down and then swimming uncontrolably around the tank and then lying upside-down again. He calmed down and I thought it was just the shock of the repeated change between the water temperatures, but later last night it got worse... and then he died. There's a number of things that could have been in the sink that aren't good for the fish.... like soap... soap is like poison to fish.... and the water wasn't the good clean kind, either. So I'm sad and mad at the dumb fish for killing himself.... and mad at myself for not putting a lid on the tank.
Well, Caden had been a lot better when the tank was in the warm water, but then he acted funny again when I took it out. And because I changed the water (after I removed Keegan), I thought it might be too cold again, so I put it back in the sink... but it didn't help. Caden was really really sluggish last night and when I woke up this morning he was dead, too. I'm sad...

How sad! At least you-know-who didn't eat them. ;)

P.s. Haha, you knew I was going to say something like that, didn't you? Well, how could I not?
I was actually thinking that maybe I should have let him eat them because it might have been a less painful death. But anyway, we're not talking about him anymore because he's kind of dating the other woman, now.... yes, its a new development. But its actually a blessing in disguise because now I know there's no hope and I can leave Biola without wishing I had strings attached. :-D
Good for you, you sound very optimistic! By the way, have Natti's new blog? It's muy cool.
