March Has Disappeared

Wow, its only the 2nd of March and its going to be over before I know it. This is my last weekend here at school until April 8th. That's so crazy!

Next weekend, I'm flying to North Carolina for Ranae and Josh's wedding (actually I'm leaving on Wednesday because we don't have school for the conference).

Then, the following Thursday, I'm leaving to go to Mexico for a week with my old high school (my mom still works there). They go down every year and build houses, but this year I'll be on cook crew. How fun! And I think I get to have a tent of girls, too. Wow... that will be weird because that used to be me in those tents.

We don't get back from Mexico until Good Friday which is the first day of my Spring Break, so I'm just gonna go straight home.

I've got a lot to do, but my Social Work Internship is going great! There are babies (we're talking younger than 3 weeks old) in the office all the time (it's an adoption agency), and I even got to answer phones during one of their staff meetings this week. Its really laidback and I just do all the odd jobs, but I get to know what's going on at the office... and today I even contemplated working in hospitals with the pregnant mommies and new babies as a possible career. Somehow its really scary to me (working in the medical field has always frightened me), but it makes sense because of how freakishly fascinated I am with prenatal babies and newborns.

Anyway, I love it that I only have two classes to pay attention to, but you better believe I keep busy. I wasn't quite busy enough at the beginning of the semester and I found that I just couldn't get anything done because there was so little to do that was pressuring me to use my time wisely.

Anyway... speaking of which... I need to get back to transcribing.
