Beautiful Rain

I was walking home from class tonight in the dark and the rain and it was so beautiful! It wasn't raining very hard but there was a steady stream of water coming down from the sky and the way the light on campus fell on it made it look really cool. I even brought my umbrella with me in case I wanted it, but I figured I'd just walk through it with a hood over my head. I think its totally psychological when you know you can't get away from the rain (ie. the umbrella) and you just feel icky. But I knew that if I brought my umbrella and put it in my backpack, I wouldn't use it, but just knowing that I could would cause me to feel more freedom in enjoying the rain. So ya... I love the rain... and warm, dry buildings to sleep in. ;-)
