Back to School

I cannot wait to get back to school and as always this is only because of the people and not the work. I know I was supposed to write out the PALS thing but it didn't get done... other things were occupying my brain space for most of the summer. Organizing and sorting through my stuff was also left unfinished. My room still looks like it did when I unpacked and sorted everything into piles at the beginning of the summer... except now the piles have grown, fallen over and morphed into other piles so actually the whole place looks like hurricane Charlie hit the west coast, too.

Anyway, I'm leaving on Saturday, so I need to get moving. I'm still planning on leaving a lot of stuff at home, so I still have a lot of sorting to do. I'm planning to drop by school on Saturday when I drive down to deposit all of my stuff in the apartment and then I'm going to Irvine with my family for the night. Sunday, we'll come back and I'll be around that night. Monday, Heather is driving down and I'll be picking Ranae up from the airport around 10:30am.

I can't wait for us to go shopping for dishes and other kitchenware and stuff. Yeah! I'm so excited to have a fridge for soda and fruit and I can't believe I get to cook my own food! Woohoo!

Anyway, I should go get started on my wreck-of-a-room, but I'm sure I'll have more excitement to express later in the week.
